Wall decals have become the decorating product of choice for families due to their ease of application. Each mural is hand painted, hand cut, photographed, collaged, designed and made in the Stickytiki studio (a converted shed by the sea in Ahuriri Napier, NZ). The stickers are made to be moved and re-created, so they can be put back onto the original backing paper to shift house. Stickytiki only uses Eco friendly inks and water based laminates which makes them a great eco alternative for wall decor.

 

 

Stickytiki started very nearly 1 year ago after a couple of years of research by painter Kim and techy guy Si. It was basic beginnings with samples hand painted onto our fabric decal to see how the concept would work....a trial exhibition at the Hawkes Bay Opera House,  some quality control from Kim and Si's three children (Zav, Jasper and Kahlo) along with  heaps of research Stickytiki was born. While the humble beginnings were updated with some  state of the art technology the origins of hand designed remain the same.
