In review... Cocoa 2 Go Chocolate Fondue Collection

We're mad for chocolate fondue! Why? Because it's fun... because it takes us back to the 70s without the need for big inconvenient cast iron pots and most importantly... because everything tastes better dipped in chocolate! We were recently introduced to the "Fondue for Me & U" collection by Cocoa 2 Go and today have the privilege of writing a review on this tasty concoction.

We decided to give the fondue a whirl at a girly afternoon tea. We chose strawberries, cherries, marshmallows and wafer sticks as our dipping ingredients. We zapped the fondue pots in the microwave as per the instructions, resulting in a thick and creamy pot of rich melted Belgian chocolate... drool. We then told ourselves that all related calories were instantly negated by the fact that there were two items from the fruit family in our dipping ingredients!

So what's the verdict? We think that chocolate fondue cups are an absolute winner. They are easy and convenient (particularly the cleaning up part, just dip and ditch... with disposable paper cups). They would be great for a dinner party dessert, or on a picnic. In fact, you can even melt the chocolate by leaving the cup in direct sunlight. Each fondue pot comes with a little ideas booklet to give you some dipping inspiration and two cute mini dipping skewers. The chocolate fondue cups are available in two sizes, 'Fondue for Me & U' (150g, serves 2) or 'Fondue for U' (75g, serves 1) and three delicious flavours (milk, white and dark Couverture Belgian chocolate).
